Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 September 2026
WIDMN is a free community project that connects people who have a real AI work problem with people who have already solved it. This page explains what personal data we handle, why, and what your rights are. We keep it short because we collect very little.
Who is responsible
WIDMN is run by Aleksandr Onyshko, Germany. For anything privacy-related, write to widmn.contact@gmail.com.
What we collect and why
- Booking a session. Before we send you to an expert's calendar, we ask for your first name, last name and email, plus the case you are booking. We use this only to prepare for the session and to understand how many people book through WIDMN. We do not use it for marketing and do not share it with anyone else. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running the platform (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) and, where you book, steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Sharing a case, requesting a case, feedback. If you fill in one of these forms, we receive what you type (for example your name, email, and the description of your case or message). We use it only to respond to you and to review or list the case. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR.
- Booking the session itself. The session is scheduled on the expert's own Calendly page. What you enter there is handled by Calendly and the expert under their own privacy policies, not by WIDMN.
- Anonymous usage statistics. We measure which pages are visited and how many people click "book", to improve the site. See "Analytics" below. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
We do not sell your data, do not run ads, and do not build advertising profiles.
Analytics
We use two privacy-focused tools: GoatCounter and Cloudflare Web Analytics. Neither uses cookies or tracks you across other websites, and neither gives us a way to identify you personally. They record things like which page was viewed, the referring site, browser type, and rough country. Because no cookies or personal identifiers are used, we do not show a cookie banner.
Who processes data for us
- Formspree (USA) receives and forwards form submissions to our inbox.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and delivers it to your browser, so it technically processes your IP address in order to serve pages and protect the site.
- Google Fonts serves the fonts used on this site. Your browser requests them directly from Google, which means your IP address is transmitted to Google when a page loads.
- GoatCounter and Cloudflare Web Analytics provide the statistics described above.
- Calendly handles the scheduling once you continue to an expert's calendar.
Some of these providers are based in the USA. Where personal data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, this happens on the basis of safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep data
We keep form submissions and booking details only as long as needed for the purpose they were collected for, and delete them on request. Anonymous statistics contain no personal data.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, and a copy in a portable format. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interests, and withdraw any consent you gave at any time. To use any of these, email widmn.contact@gmail.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, for example the one in your German federal state.
Changes
If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date above.
