1. Who is responsible
Aleks Onyshko, WIDMN, Weißenburger Straße 27, 44135 Dortmund, Germany. Email: widmn.contact@gmail.com. Questions about your data can go to this address at any time.
2. What we collect
Account: email, name, password (stored encrypted), and anything you add to your profile - photo, bio, languages, time zone, interests.
Bookings: which expert and case you booked, the time, your task description, cancellations and reschedules with their reasons.
Payments: amount and payment status. Card details go straight to Stripe - we never see or store them.
Reviews and feedback: what you write in review, feedback and contact forms.
Experts: additionally the public page content, schedule and meeting link.
3. Why we use it
To run your account, make and manage bookings, take payments, send booking emails, show expert pages and approved reviews, and improve the platform. Legal bases: contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legal obligations such as tax records (Art. 6(1)(c)), and our legitimate interest in a safe, working service (Art. 6(1)(f)). Public reviews are only shown with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).
4. Who else processes data
Hosting and database - our cloud provider stores accounts, bookings and files.
Stripe - payment processing (Stripe Payments Europe, Ireland).
Email delivery - booking confirmations and reminders.
Google - only if you choose "Continue with Google" to sign in.
GoatCounter - cookieless visitor statistics, no personal profiles.
Video tools - calls happen in the expert's own tool (for example Google Meet or Zoom) under that provider's privacy terms.
Some providers may process data outside the EU; in that case standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision apply.
5. What experts see
When you book, the expert sees your name, email, task description and booking details so they can prepare. Private feedback about the platform is only visible to the WIDMN team.
6. Cookies
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser stores a login token so you stay signed in - this is needed for the service to work.
7. How long we keep it
Account data is kept while your account exists. Booking and payment records are kept as long as German tax law requires (up to 10 years). Everything else is deleted when you ask us or close your account.
8. Your rights
You can ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, a copy of your data, or object to processing. You can withdraw consent at any time. Just email widmn.contact@gmail.com. You can also complain to a data protection authority, for example the LDI NRW in Düsseldorf.
